Judson Tank is a small Welding Firm that specializes in ASME pressure vessel and pressure piping applications In local and out of state locations. We perform SMAW , GTAW & GMAW processes on carbon and stainless steel vessels, pipes & structural members.
We operate out of Mankato, Central Mn. (Elrosa) area & Souix Falls South Dakota. Most projects are within a 5 state area some beyond that.
Our customer base is found in Industries such as: Ethanol, Oil & Gas processing, Seed Oil extraction, AG Chemicals, Anhydrous Ammonia, Propane & misc. other Heavy Industries. We rotate travel projects with local projects to maximize our employee’s home time and support their family life. We believe that our long term success depends on our employee family time. We work a standard 4-10hr/ day compressed work week. Our travel schedule is commonly ,home for the weekend if the distance is reasonable or 10-days on and 5-days comp time with overtime after 40 hrs/per 7-day.Yearly incomes( including overtime and bonuses) range from 55,000$ -85,000$
Our Pay ranges from 20/hr to 30.50/hr based on experience & performance testing. We offer a group health plan with health savings account, and short term disability or We make a reimbursement toward a high deductible 80-20 health policy. We provide 6- paid holidays & 40 hours vacation after 1 year & 40 hours personal leave. We also offer a simple IRA with company matching .
Travel is paid from area base to job and back. Travel in company vehicle from base or in the company airplane as determined on a weekly basis. Hotel is provided and food is 35$ per diem.
We expect to train beyond basic welding skills for candidates with high potential. We are looking for character, we expect to train for competence.
